Who is Nurse Lauren?

 

Hi Everyone, 

It’s me, Lauren – your friendly senior cosmetic nurse injector and trainer.

I feel like I know so much about my beautiful clients. It’s probably the best to share some information about me.

So…..as many of you know I was born in Korea BUT spent most of my life in the sunny sunny state of California. I made the decision to come to Australia to learn about kangaroos and koalas – fell in love and the rest is history.

I did my nursing degree in Queensland. Upon graduation, I travelled South to Melbourne and started my nursing career in an emergency department.

What made you get into dermal aesthetics?

I know that nursing is not 100% about the treatment of physical needs. It also encompasses the enhancement of self-essence. Most of women including myself want to look their best in any circumstance regardless of age. 

I experience joy and a sense of professional accomplishment when this "refreshed" client exhibits excitement at the subtle differences that they see in a mirror after the cosmetic procedure. I relish boosting self-image and confidence in my clients. 

I feel like we need to understand that taking care of ourselves involves nurturing ourselves and taking care of our skin – building self-confidence is in a way self-love.

 

What is something about you people wouldn’t know?

Well.....Earlier this year, it was very exciting – my partner and I became the proud parents of the beautiful Miss Penny! We adopted the most gorgeous Labrador – she is so inquisitive and sweet. She keeps us on our toes.

 

What is something you can’t live without?

My family! My partner Jason and of course Penny….and all my friends and colleagues I work with.
